Why does my setup take so long?

When you first install Origin onto your store we need to do some manual setup to build your reports.

This involves:

• Requesting all your historical orders from Shopify since you opened your store (including order metadata and attribution information recorded by Shopify)
• Processing all these orders and loading them onto your Origin account
• Processing all the attribution data and creating attribution records in Origin
• Configuring the data to work with various attribution models and attribution windows
• Loading data from your ad account

If you have a large amount of orders then this process can take some time as we are likely creating millions of rows of data in our database.

During this time you can continue to configure your Origin account and get it ready to receive tracking information but reports will be disabled until the automated setup has finished.

Once this initial setup is done, any new orders and attribution data will appear in your account within minutes.
